Gas-assisted (nitrogen) molding blows a hollow core through the thick sections, while vacuum-assisted molding pulls the air out of the cavity before filling.
The result: stronger, lighter parts with no sink marks or burns — at lower pressure and a shorter cycle.
Gas-assisted (nitrogen) molding
We inject the plastic, then high-pressure nitrogen pushes a hollow channel through the thick sections. That cuts internal stress, removes sink marks and saves material — at low injection pressure, with less warpage, and with gas-reinforced ribs that add stiffness without adding weight.
Vacuum-assisted molding
Once the mold closes, we pull the cavity down to a vacuum and then inject. With the air gone, the cavity fills easily at lower pressure and higher speed — no trapped air, no burns or bubbles, cleaner weld lines and a shorter cycle.
