IMD — in-mold decoration
We feed a decorated foil into the mold, clamp and vacuum-suction it into place, injection-mold behind it, then remove the finished part. The foil carries a PET carrier film, a hard-coat layer, the graphic and the resin — so the decoration ends up sealed under a tough top coat.
IML — in-mold labelling
We heat and soften a printed film (PC or PMMA), form it to the part shape by suction and trim it. The film goes into the mold, the mold closes, and we injection-mold behind it so film and resin bond as one — the part ejects with the decoration already on it.
